About Me

My name is Ismael Elkadri. I am a first year student at Wilfrid Laurier University majoring in User Experience Design.

My passion for UX began from a young age, when I started noticing poorly designed ideas. Whether it was a door at school that pulled instead of pushed, or a mug at a department store with a handle too small to hold, I noticed. I couldn’t accept that this was it, I needed to find a solution. I would imagine what the product would look like if it was designed correctly and frequently sketched them out. I consider myself a highly creative individual who consistently explores ideas and pushes boundaries. I find myself looking at challenges from multiple perspectives, allowing me to generate innovative solutions. This ability to think outside the box fuels my passion for creativity.

When I’m not designing, I express myself through photography…
